The Compassionate Mind has a vision to build The Calgary Meditation Collective as a movement in Calgary that aims to promote unity, connection, and compassion. Our goal is to bring people from all different spiritual traditions and disciplines together to foster wholeness and unity consciousness.

We believe that meditation and mindfulness practices are essential for promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and we want to make these practices accessible to everyone in our community.

Together, we can create a brighter and more peaceful future for Calgary and beyond.

I'm Bev Janisch

I am on a mission to help people break the stress habit and cultivate inner peace, well-being and authentic happiness.

I founded the Compassionate Mind in 2014 to offer holistic approaches to meditation and mindfulness so that people feeling stressed and disconnected can nourish and awaken their body-mind-soul.

We serve people in Calgary, AB, and beyond seeking knowledge and tools to be empowered to live healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives. I have a master’s degree in nursing and am a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, integral coach and author. I look forward to connecting with you.
